The Sage Group CEO Guy Berruyer on how more and more of the company’s clients want to shift toward cloud computing.
Mr. Guy Berruyer seems to be advocating a hybrid solution that is the same message he “preached” in Asia when during a partner conference. And it is a good message. What is a Hybrid Solution?? Application on the cloud but data (confidential & sensitive data) on premise? I like this idea because it will prevent “Data Ransom.”
Also Data migration is a very important point that customers need to look out for when signing up with a Cloud provider” when you decided after two years or so to terminate the contract. Look out for the fine print in the contract. What happen to your data? And reputable providers like SF will NOT hold you to ransom, but you get back you data in a big chunk of spaghetti. It’s True, It’s True!!!
